Loc: Actually, finally on Nirn again. I forgot what it looked like from your perspective. Hahahaha.

Is there a function to detect your maximum magicka? Not current, but maximum.
If not, does anyone know how it's calculated?

Base magicka is 0.5 x intelligence, but race, birthsigns, spells, potions, and enchantments will modify the base value either directly or by altering intelligence. It may be possible to detect the effects of all these different factors (Madd_Mugsy has been doing work along that line with his alternative leveling mode, you may want to examine his work), but I certain it is very cumbersome.

short Temp short MaxMagicka
set Temp to GetMagicka ;Stores current magicka ModCurrentMagicka 9999 ;Sets current magicka to max magicka set MaxMagicka to GetMagicka ;The value you want. ModCurrentMagicka -9999 ;Sets current magicka to 0 ModCurrentMagicka Temp ;Sets current magicka to original value. (May require Tribunal)
A little clunky, but not that bad really. You could probabnly run it every frame with no problem.

I was thinking of something like that, just I supposed that the player might think it odd that his magick flickered (unless it happened too fast). I have a way, I just thought there was an easier one.

Since it all happens within one frame, I don't think it would show at all.
